Daily Comment
Busy day at work, after work, too.
Usually, I write these blog posts during work hours, which is why the weekday posts tend to be longer than the weekend posts.
I did not have time to write a blog at work. Typically, that means that I will write a short piece at home the next morning, or, less commonly, that night. This is a next-morning post.
I thought I would just say a few words about my blogging process.
Every day's blog, with very few exceptions (vacation) begins shortly after I get out of bed. When I have finished my toilet, I weigh myself. Then I do whatever other personal maintenance needs to be done (shower, breakfast, whatever) and sit down at the computer for blogging.
First, I finish off the previous days blog. That usually entails adding the meal pictures and captions, and summarizing my liquid intake, re-reading the commentary for errors (I don't do much content editing - I enjoy writing free-flow, spontaneously). Then I post it. Almost every daily blog is posted the day after.
I then copy that day's blog and create the new day's blog entry from it. This entails changing the dates, updating the weights, creating and pasting in the new weight chart.
Everything else occurs during the next twenty-four hours. If it is a work day, I will usually write the commentary at work. Most of the time, I eat lunch at home, so there's the food prep and photography. Same with dinner. Then, next morning comes finishing up as the first part of my morning routine.
And so it goes.

Diet Comment:
You don't lose weight when you fast then eat a day's worth of food. Luckily, weight loss isn't the goal. Today is lunch with Al day at Ling-Ling's Chinese Buffet. Anything good is worth repeating.

Dinner
No pictures tonight: Dinner consisted of an appetizer of hard-boiled eggs and spicy mayonnaise, then salmon salad on a bed of Spring Mix greens and red cabbage.
Chia gel.
Lunch
At Ling-Ling's Chinese Buffet:
Kimchi and the Mongolian grill dish: chicken and pork with bean sprouts, broccoli, celery, leeks, onions, peppers and mushrooms. |
Snack

Dinner
