July 14, 2011: Day 46, Post 194

 Goal Weight: 188 pounds

Please leave a comment if you visit my blog. Thank you!

Today's Weight:        199.6 lbs
Yesterday's Weight:    203.4 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:         - 3.8 lbs
This is my daily weight chart since ending the Slow-Carb diet. July 9 was the 1st measurement for Phase 1 for the 6 week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle.

This is Day 46 post-Slow-Carb, Day 6 of Phase 1 from The 6-week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle, which lasts 14 days.

Bam! A pleasant scale surprise, a drop of almost 4 pounds in a single day, justifying my lack of care over the lack of weight-loss progress over the previous 4 days since I started Phase 1. With 8 more days left in this phase, which, for whatever it is worth, is not really a weight-loss part (that is Phase 2), I am cautiously optimistic that I won't see a rebound - especially since the plan doesn't really change from day to day for the whole phase.

Food Log

Breakfast
Power-up shake containing 70 g of vanilla whey protein (56 g protein), 1/2t stevia-erythritol blend, 1t of D-ribose, 1 whole organic egg, 2oz coconut milk, 2T organic heavy cream, water and ice.

Lunch
The coconut cream pie version of the power shake: The basic Power-up shake (see breakfast) including the egg, but substituting a 1/2C coconut milk for the 1/4C of the water, using 1T of sugar-free hazelnut syrup instead of 1/2t stevia-erythritol blend, and adding 1/2t of coconut extract.

Snack
Same as breakfast, but without the egg (I took it to work, and had it at 4:00pm).

Dinner

Appetizer:  Natural sausage links with Spring Mix greens and balsamic vinaigrette.

Grilled wild-caught mahi-mahi dressed with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and pepper and sea salt, with Spring Mix greens and homemade mayonniaise.

Liquid Intake
Coffee:  0 oz,   Water: 150+ oz.

First of all, thank you - I am even impressing myself. Do you realize that I have posted a blog every day this year?

Talk about OCD!

I guess you can go ahead and invite me to google plus - I don't really know much about it or what good it is, but trust it can't hurt!
