Today is the first day of following Phase 1 from The 6-week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle.
The plan calls for "eating" 3 protein shakes a day. Plus one low-carb meal. The plan is sketchy about laying out exact guidelines for that meal, opting instead to give breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes, but the gist seems to be that protein is unlimited, fat is only limited in avoidance of trans-fats, but carbs are very limited. So, I can do that... the only question is, how will my body react to this sudden drop in fiber. I'm curious.

Power-up shake containing 2 scoops of whey protein (48 g protein), 1t of D-ribose, 2T coconut milk, water and ice.
Lunch
Power-up shake containing 2 scoops of whey protein (48 g protein), 1 whole organic egg, 1t of D-ribose, 3T coconut milk, 1/2t stevia-erythritol blend, water and ice.
