Today's Weight:        202.6 lbs 
Yesterday's Weight:    202.2 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:         + 0.4 lbs
Daily weight from January 1, 2011.
Daily weight from October 1, 2011.

Yesterday was mostly very good eating... until I got home after a late jam, and ended up downing quite a few calories at 1:30am. The result? A little weight gain in this morning's weigh-in.

Today is a better day, as I head into a 3-day weekend. And tomorrow? Well, that's cheat day! Oh, baby!



Daily Comment
Heading into the Columbus Day weekend, I am thinking about what I knew about ol' Chris growing up, and what I have learned of more recently. Like many people of historic importance, the truth we know seems to be less than true, or, at best, incomplete. The 'truth' we were taught seems to be wholly made up or, at best, distorted. 


The story we were taught is one-sided and wholly Eurocentric; you get a very different view if looked at from the viewpoint of the indigenous peoples he met (and subjugated).


It is possible to view Columbus as a hero or a villain. 

Food Log


Breakfast
Chocolate egg cream protein shake: Vanilla whey protein powder (w/36g of whey protein) plus cocoa, an egg, coconut milk, extra 5g of BCAAs, cinnamon and stevia-erythritol blend.


Lunch
Chicken salad (rotisserie chicken, celery, onion, home-made mayonnaise) and a salad (Spring Mix greens, black beans, red cabbage, yellow peppers).


Dinner
Wild-caught salmon with home-made spicy mayonnaise, Shahi Rajma (red bean curry), and a salad with Spring Mix greens, red cabbage, grape tomatoes, and yellow peppers.


Snack
Celery and yellow peppers with home-made spicy mayonnaise.

Liquid Intake
    Coffee:  22 oz,   Water: 128+ oz.
