Three days of incredible weight loss comes to a skidding halt. What changed? Nothing, as far as I can tell. This is a "go figure!" kind of moment.

I will not get to post my first measurement day in 3 weeks until Sunday, and there may be no Sunday post. See the Daily Comment for why.

Daily Comment
Tomorrow I have to drive down to New York City. I do not want to make this trip, but what I want is irrelevant (I don't like that much, either). My sister-in-law's mother, a woman I have known for years, and have loved as long as I've known her, has died. My brother and his wife have provided in-home care for her for nearly a decade, so this wasn't a shock or a surprise, but is still sad. A remarkable, life-loving woman with a super-strong will to live (She survived having all life support removed from her a full week longer than the hours-to-live prognosis they gave her, before finally succumbing). RIP, Early!

Tomorrow, I will attend a Memorial Service for the daughter of an old and dear friend, who was murdered by an ex-boyfriend (he turned himself in and confessed). I have known other people who died tragic deaths, but this is as close as this kind of crime has come to me. I hate everything about this - everything. And I am crying for my friend Vickie, who has been a supportive, caring kindred soul of mine for 47 years.

Food Log

Breakfast
Chocolate egg cream protein shake: Vanilla whey protein powder (w/36g of whey protein) plus cocoa, an egg, almond milk, an extra 5g of BCAAs, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend.

Lunch
At Star North Buffet, and I didn't take a picture. Sorry. What I had was a "Hibachi Grill" (looks like a standard diner grill to me) mix of chicken, beef, pork, egg. broccoli, mushrooms, onions and peppers. With some unknown "hibachi sauce" which a language barrier prevented me from finding out anything about. Still, very good. But, diet-wise, suspicious.

Snack
Carrots and home-made spicy mayonnaise.

Dinner
Chicken-feta cheese-spinach sausage with Dal Fry (lentil curry), and a salad of Spring Mix greens and red cabbage with balsamic vinegar.
Liquid Intake
Coffee:  11 oz,   Water: 104+ oz.
