Daily Comment
A short comment today.
I think I may have become too complacent with my attempts to reconcile my intellect, which recognizes the illusions of the material world, and my emotions, that insists on protecting my sense of identity.
The former knows my identity for the construct, the illusion, the lie that it is. The latter defends the sense of self ferociously. There is conflict there, where there needs to be peace.
Big wheel keeps on a-turning.

Diet Comment:
Can I be proud of losing 7.8 pounds in 5 days? Well, if I can, I am. Another couple of pounds and I'll be ready for the September challenge: A wedding, a reunion, lots of time spent eating and traveling.
