Daily Comment
This is the last day of eating at home for a short while. Tomorrow, I will fast until dinner. at Terminal 5 at JFK airport, or, more likely, eat the remainder of another bag of Wholesome Medley nut, dried fruit and dark chocolate mix. I might accompany that with some left-over opiated pain medicine, to relax me on the long flight to Los Angeles.
Work was shitty. So it goes. Not complaining.
I finalized the deal on the Soul (2012 Kia Soul+ from Burdick Kia <-- click on this), before dinner. I am satisfied that it is a good deal, and I have a pickup date of November 20th.
After dinner, I played APA League pool tonight, because that's what a friend does when asked to help out a friend's team.
Playing pool is something I don't really like doing, because, especially league-style, it brings out the worst in my competitive nature, which is too say, I go straight to self-sabotage mode, so that I get to taste the sweet wine of defeat, disappointment and humiliation. So I regard this selfless act of friendship as a martyrdom.
After pool, I went home and packed for the trip.
Tomorrow's will be my last blog entry until Sunday, November 19. There will be no no Food and Diet Section while I'm on vacation (unless I really feel like it). I will try and post some pics and/or comments while I'm in LA.
I hope we all have a most excellent time while I'm away.

Diet Comment
I'm glad my cheat in the evening - an entire bag of off-plan food (24 ounces of nuts, dried fruit and dark chocolate!) didn't hurt my weight nearly as much as I expected it would. That will happen tomorrow, when I ate another half a bag of Wholesome Medley - it's probably only wholesome in much smaller quantities - and finished off the hard-boiled eggs and home-made mayonnaise at around midnight.

Liquid Intake
Coffee: 22 oz, Water: 64+ oz.
