July 15, 2011: Day 47, Post 195

Net Loss/Gain:         + 0.4 lbs
This is my daily weight chart since ending the Slow-Carb diet. July 9 was the 1st measurement for Phase 1 for the 6 week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle.

This is Day 47 post-Slow-Carb, Day 7 of Phase 1 from The 6-week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle, which lasts 14 days.

In 6 days, I've lost 4 pounds. Not too shabby at all. We'll see what the "tale of the tape" says tomorrow morning, but I'm cautiously optimistic that I will not be disappointed.




Food Log

Breakfast
Power-up shake containing 70 g of vanilla whey protein (56 g protein), 1/2t stevia-erythritol blend, 1t of D-ribose, 1 whole organic egg, 2T organic heavy cream, water and ice. This is the recommended basic shake (an egg in the shake is optional, but recommended, while the stevia-eriythritol is just optional).

Lunch

Chicken sausage with feta and spinach, on whole grain dijon mustard, with Spring Mix greens and balsamic vinaigrette.


Snack
Same as breakfast.

Dinner

The coconut cream pie version of the power shake: The basic Power-up shake (see breakfast) including the egg, but using 6oz coconut milk and 1/4C water, 1T of sugar-free hazelnut syrup, and 1/2t of coconut extract.

Liquid Intake
    Coffee:  0 oz,   Water: 128+ oz.
