This is my daily weight chart since ending the Slow-Carb diet. July 9 was the 1st day of Phase 1 of The 6 week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle.

This is Day 53 post-Slow-Carb, Day 13 of Phase 1 from The 6-week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle, which lasts 14 days.

Home stretch on Phase 1 now. After tomorrow, I will spend the next two weeks, Phase 2, eating very-low carbohydrate, high protein, high fat meals. This probably means, if I continue with 4 meals a day, that two meals will be based around eggs, since I am the egg-man. Goo-goo-goo-jube. Expect to see a lot of grass-fed beef burgers, also. And bacon and sausage. And a lot of salad greens. No, really, a lot.

We will also see the re-introduction of coffee, and the elimination of all dairy (good-bye, protein shakes). PAGG will return.

I can't wait!



Food Log

Breakfast
Power-up shake containing 75 g of vanilla whey protein (61 g protein), 1t of D-ribose, 1t of inulin, 1 whole organic egg, 1/4C Coconut milk, water and ice.

Lunch
Grass-fed beef burgers with whole seed Poupon mustard and spicy brown mustard, and a salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. And my hand, for scale.


Snack
Same as breakfast.


Dinner

Coconut cream pie version of power-up shake.


Liquid Intake
    Coffee:  0 oz,   Water: 132+ oz.
