Even as I wait to start the 2-week 3 shakes-and-a-meal regimen this Saturday, I try to keep tabs on what I eat, and how it effects my feelings, appearance and weight. I am also looking at what kind of diet I may get on after the 6-week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle. Thinking about 'Cheat Your Way Thin' plan. More to come...

It is interesting that I ate a lot of food yesterday, many more calories than is typical, but by keeping to foods that have a low impact on calories and insulin (vegetables) or foods whose fat content is healthy, and accompanied by high protein content (cheese, nuts, meat), yesterday's little 'binge' did not impact my weight or appearance, and today, I felt fine.

That being said, I did not have an appetite before work today, and skipped breakfast.

Interesting- I think that probably your day to day weight does not reflect what you eat the day before but that a range is a more accurate way to look at it.
The knife sharpener came- Thank you. I am going to spend some time this week end sharpening knives. Love you

If you look, basically your weight has stabilized eating the way you have been eating and will probably drop if you keep it up.

You'll have to read today's blog to get my thoughts - suffice it to say, they are mixed.

I respectfully disagree on your thought that keeping my current eating plan will promote further weight loss or body composition improvements. It hasn't changed that much since April, and I have gained weight since May, except for a one-week period when I was on an extremely low-carb diet.

Finally, don't wear out the sharpener this weekend - a second present is on its way to you, and should arrive as early as Monday next week, but no later than Wednesday. It was supposed to be a surprise, so I'm going to let you guess, which I have given you enough information to do.

Love ya!
