First week of Slow Carb under my belt, so to speak. OK, not too shabby, great in the weight loss department day-over-day, if not so great week over week, but any improvement (and they both improved) is progress. 


The meaning of the other measurements is a bit more perplexing... If I were to think about it, but I'm over that, and quickly, too.



Food Log
Breakfast
Coffee with:  A whole-grain bagel with flax seeds, a LEO (Lox. eggs and onions) followed by oatmeal raisin cookies (which I ate a box of throughout the day).
Lunch
Eaten close to dinner time, this is whole wheat penne with peas and a tomato sauce with sausage, peppers and wine. Not shown: chocolate chip cookies.
I went to the farmer's market and bought what was advertised (and looked like) purple cauliflower. When I cooked it up, it looked more like purple and green broccoli. Still delicious. I steamed and chilled some, which I ate with a little homemade mayonnaise. The rest of it (there was a lot!) I had with a 50-50 mix of brown rice elbow macaroni and whole wheat penne, a spicy sausage and peppers tomato sauce and some freshly-grated parmesan cheese. 
Dinner
For dinner, I went with a friend to Connella's BBQ, to hear a great band (Morris and the Hepcats) and have a delicious dinner. It started with scallops wrapped in bacon, in a brown sugar sauce.
The main dish at Connella's was blackened haddock with a side of cole slaw and (not shown) pasta  and marinara sauce. After the dinner, and the music, I ate a dessert of raisins and dark chocolate (no, NOT Raisinettes).


Liquid Intake
    Coffee:  60 oz,   Water:80+ oz.
