OK - time to pull in the reins, as it were, and get serious. Since it is Thanksgiving week, my cheat day will be Thursday this week. I really can't afford a whole-hog cheat day, so I'm going to try to be careful on Thursday. In the meantime, I'm going to be more careful than usual to adhere to a low-carb, moderate fat, high-protein eating plan. This is not the week to reintroduce beans. I've decided to stay low carb (as opposed to slow-carb) until my weight gets back down to 202 pounds.


Daily Comment
More tragedy among my friends: I learned that another friend's daughter was killed in a car wreck, and an old friend had a serious cardiac episode (more serious than a heart attack!). What's up with that? 
It convinces me more and more to find a place where the living is easy and good medical care is cheap.

Chocolate egg cream protein shake: Vanilla whey protein powder (w/36g of whey protein) plus cocoa, an egg, almond milk, an extra 5g of BCAAs, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend.

Lunch

Baby carrots and guacomole.


Dinner

Grass-fed beef burger with chipotle sauce and guacomole, and a salad of baby spinach, romaine, red cabbage and balsamic vinaigrette.
Snack
Baby carrots with home-made mayonnaise.

    Coffee:  0 oz,   Water: 92+ oz.
