Welcome back?? A huge gain for 10 days of eating anything and everything. A 10 day cheat. I'm not surprised that I gained almost 15 pounds, an average gain of 1-1/2 pounds per day. I 'observed' myself doing it, and decided not to care, not to make food an issue while I was on vacation. Now, food will become a huge issue, as I need to lose 15 pounds or so in the next 6 weeks, which, of course, includes the major eating holidays. The good news? I think it will come off almost as quickly as it went on.

I didn't blog while I was on vacation, either. My last entry contains the last food data I recorded, and my last good food choices until today.


While I won't be changing much in my diet, I am going to put a focus on protein shakes for a few days: 3 shakes, 1 meal.


Daily Comment
I have had intermittent pain in my left leg for the last 12 days. It is a stabbing pain that seems to start deep in my hip joint, and sometimes radiates down to my knee and below. If I had to point to it, I would point to an area to the left of my lower stomach, in a line about 6 inches above my groin. It does not feel like a muscle problem, and I do not remember an injury to it. If it persists, a doctor's visit is called for.

It was one of a number of things that negatively affected my vacation, which is a shame. The important part, though, getting to hang out with Alex, that was excellent.

Breakfast
Chocolate egg cream protein shake: Vanilla whey protein powder (w/48g of whey protein) plus cocoa, an egg, almond milk, an extra 5g of BCAAs, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend.

Lunch
Chocolate egg cream protein shake: Vanilla whey protein powder (w/36g of whey protein) plus cocoa, an egg, almond milk, an extra 5g of BCAAs, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend.


Dinner
Boneless pork loin, scrambled eggs with peppers and onions, salsa, with a giant salad of Spring Mix greens and red cabbage with balsamic vinegar.
Liquid Intake
    Coffee:  12 oz,   Water: 74+ oz.

I just looked it up and appendicitis goes to your lower right abdomen. No worry

I knew it wasn't my appendix. I was actually thinking it might be something vascular.

Today, it is noticeably improved, so I'm not going to worry about it unless it bothers me again.
