Today's Weight:        200.8 lbs

Net Loss/Gain:         - 1.2 lbs
Daily weight from October 1, 2011.
Daily weight from January 1, 2011.
Yesterday's normal "upside down" day continued the recovery from cheat day, now below the weight I started cheat day at. An unscheduled meal out at a nearby Chinese buffet made for a very big lunch. Since I was very hungry later, I suspect there were some ingredients that were off-diet, probably in some of the sauces.

Yes, I got the article.

I do believe that incorporating a cheat day, by the way, is essential in both loss and maintenance. The cheat day restores leptin levels, reduces gherin levels and has really helped me not overeat on any of the 6 other days.

The study showed why just reducing calories overall (the calories-in, calories-out weight loss theory) is so unsuccessful long-term, which isn't new news to me.
