Not much to celebrate, weight-wise. This is my highest measurement-date weight of the year, coming a week after my lowest. Wait a minute, that is something to celebrate, because, for all that, my weight isn't up above my comfort zone... I just have to move that trend line direction down.

Daily Commentary
No update tomorrow. Today is measurement day, cheat day, and travel day - 4-and-a-half hours down to the City. But what a good time once I got there! First, I went to an Irish Pub to wait for my friends to get back from walking the dog. It turned out there was a trad Irish session in progress, very nice. I got a chance to talk to some of the players a bit, the music was very good, and a nice Jameson's helped me unwind from the rather tedious drive. Then came a delicious Indian dinner featuring a live sitar player (they aren't called sitarists, I'm told). Great food, great company, ambience, music. Great night.



Food Log
Breakfast
Chocolate egg cream protein shake (vanilla whey protein powder (w/36g of whey protein) plus an egg, cocoa, almond milk, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend)..


Lunch
A large bag of spicy hot peanuts for the ride down.


Dinner
At the New Calcutta on E. 6th Street, to the sounds of a live sitar player and recorded tabla, I had mulligatawny soup, a variety of breads, assorted appetizers, shrimp biryani, and some lamb and vegetable curries. Later, a brownie for dessert. 


Liquid Intake
    Coffee:  30 oz, Water:  40 oz.  Plus, a shot of Jameson's, a large bottle of Kingfisher beer.
