February 15, 2012: Post 46, Day 46 - Fast Day

Today's Weight:        202.2 lbs 
Yesterday's Weight:    203.0 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:         - 0.8 lbs
Daily weight from December 31, 2011 - first quarter.

Daily weight from December 31, 2011 - year 2012.

My weight was down a little bit today, even though my calorie consumption was up over yesterday. 


Today's fast has historically dropped my weight more dramatically than my post-Cheat Day fast. We'll see. I don't do these fasts for weight control, anyway. Glad they seem to help with that, but the main reason is that fasting is healthy, balancing out many of the physical stresses I put my body through on a regular basis, just in the act of living.


And, at the end of the 24-hour fast period, I was seriously hungry. After a light dinner, I had 3 high-protein (one was also high-fat) snacks.  


Daily Comment

It looks like I have gotten out of the way of the Project Manager juggernaut I discussed yesterday. If so, my applecart is righted.

Rajma Masala (red kidney bean curry) with spinach and eggs and a salad of Spring Mix greens , red cabbage and balsamic vinaigrette.

Snack 1
Roast turkey breast with whole seed Dijon mustard.


Snack 2
Chocolate egg cream protein shake (vanilla whey protein powder (w/48g of whey protein) plus cocoa, almond milk, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend). 

Snack 3
Celery and parmesan cheese (a lot of parmesan cheese). There's a reason not to have 'forbidden' food items around on non-cheat days. 


Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   40 oz,   Water: 112+ oz.
