March 13, 2012: Post 73, Day 73

Today's Weight:        201.2 lbs 
Yesterday's Weight:    202.6 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:         - 1.4 lbs

Daily weight from December 31, 2011 - first quarter. 

Daily weight from December 31, 2011 - year 2012. 

Diet Comment:
Dropping down a little bit more today, that's goodness, and expected. The way to look at these weight charts is: 1) Notice the relationship between the daily weight and the trend lines, or 2) Squint so that the blue squiggly stuff blurs, and all you can really see are the averages and trends, or 3) Don't bother, weight isn't really an important measure.

Daily Comment:
I could lose more weight if I slept more/better, but I can't really fit the recommended sleep 'cures' or sleep hygiene guidelines into my lifestyle. Or, to put it another way, I am unwilling to sacrifice/change the behavior that prevent me from getting more/better sleep. 



Food Log

Breakfast
Green protein shake (vanilla whey protein powder (w/36g of whey protein) plus an egg, almond milk, kale, vanilla, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend). This is made with a lot of kale: About 3 cups, packed.


Lunch
Roasted turkey breast with Spring Mix greens, hard-boiled eggs, red cabbage, kale and balsamic vinaigrette.  

Dinner
Chili (grass-fed beef, tomatoes, black beans, tomato paste, salsa, spices) with spinach. Again. I even used the same picture as yesterday, when I made it and ate the other half. Not shown:  Spring Mix greens, red cabbage and balsamic vinaigrette.


Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   22 oz,   Water: 144+ oz
