Diet Comment:
Nice to take some of yesterday's weight gain off. 
Since I was going to the Star North Buffet again for lunch, I skipped breakfast. Good thing, because after lunch, I indulged in a piece of 'retirement cake' at work. So it goes. 
Note that this time I called it an indulgence, not a fail. But the guilt-monster within is thinking, 'fail'. Sigh.

Daily Comment:
Today, work was a drag. Totally. Sometimes that happens. In this case, my usual time spent doing nothing was interrupted by having to wait - for hours - for the arrival of mail that meant I would have to do something - not much, but something. The waiting is the hardest part, and means I cannot daydream...  

Don't give me that. Daydreaming is what I do...

Lunch
At Star North:
Steamed fish in egg drop soup (just ate the fish); kimchi, garden salad with hard-boiled egg and ranch dressing; Hibachi grill with shrimp, chicken, beef, fried egg, broccoli, mushrooms, onions and peppers in hot and spicy sauce. Not shown: A piece of birthday cake



Dinner
Green protein shake:  Vanilla-flavored whey protein (48g of protein), an egg, kale, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend.



Snack
Celery, baby carrots and home-made mayonnaise.



Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   22 oz,   Water: 86+ oz
