Net Loss/Gain:         - 1.8 lbs

Daily weight from December 31, 2011 - year 2012.

This is exactly the right day to be at my lowest weight for the week. Today (Thursday), tomorrow and Saturday (Cheat Day) are weight-neutral or weight-gaining days, whereas Sunday (Fast) Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Fast) are weight-neutral or weight-loss days. I believe that is the cycle I'm on now.


I'm not fasting, but I'm skipping breakfast because it's another big lunch day at the Buffet and Mongolian Grill with my friend Al.

Daily Comment
The new project ('Big Talk') got some things straightened out, now, and should have no problem rehearsing going forward. We'll play at an open mic on Sunday, and have a regular rehearsal Fridays after that.

But some things that got off to a good start don't end well. I got some bad news today (it isn't my news, so no details here) about the end of a long-term relationship I thought was golden. It made put a damper on my day, thinking about my past experiences and empathizing. Nobody died, so there's the greatest likelihood that it will at some future time, turn out to have been all for the best. I really do believe that is how things work.

At Star North Chinese Buffet and Hibachi Grill:

Garden salad with hard-boiled eggs, steamed fish with egg drop soup, kimchi, shrimp and chicken with broccoli, onions, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms and an egg in hot and spicy sauce. 
Dinner
Chili (grass-fed beef, tomatoes, black beans, spices) and peas, with Spring Mix greens, red cabbage and balsamic vinaigrette. 
Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   22 oz,   Water: 168+ oz
