August 5, 2012: Post 572 (2012 Day 218) - Fast Day
Daily Comment
Last night's show was great. OK, parts of it were less than great. The lead guitarist went completely South on a couple of songs, and the drummer made a few errors. But, despite that, a good, high-energy show that made the group a lot of fans.
Playing with i am Fool remains one of the most fun things I do, one of the most sustained fun things I've ever done. So these performance glitches, which always happen, and are always going to happen with this band, are minor annoyances to me.
Not so with everybody in the band. Things have reached an interesting place when, during a gig, I'm the one calming people down.

25-hour fast. I was still feeling full when I broke the fast at dinner-time. Ate a light dinner. Hungry by the time I got home at 2am, had a late-night snack, probably undid all the good of the fast. No biggie.

You are doing great. How many months have you kept your weight stable now? Alot Love you both, Joan
My weight's been in a stable, narrow range for 13 months now.
Hi Ken and Joan,
The weather in N.Y. isreally uncomfortable, even with my airconditioner on. It doesn,t work so well. I listened to jazz music this morning. Isn't it so fun? I hear that some politiician ( I can't recall his name) was just busted for corruption. I think that is so wrong!!! the rest of the day has been a little boring, except for the time I was typing this. -
Love, Love
