Thank you.

Last week, I lost 3.6 pounds and 1 inch!  I am pretty much right on track with everything, as far as this plan goes. Ultimately, I hope to be under 200 pounds at my April 23 weigh-in, 6 weeks from now. That would put my BMI at 24.3, and mean that, as far as BMI goes, I'm not fat any more. Now, I know BMI is a stupid measure of health or fitness or, really, anything, but you know what? I'll take it, as long as it is positive.

Also, I have decided to stop using the term 'Cheat Day' to describe those wonderful Saturdays when I can eat anything I want, because I am not cheating. This is a designed-in part of the plan, and from what I understand, is required to ensure my hormones stay balanced and I will continue to lose weight. So, I choose to call it my Free Day - free from food restrictions, free from worrying at all about the diet.

Here's the story with graphics. First, my overall weight chart:

Here is the daily chart:

Free day food:

Breakfast
1 of the 2 halves of a ruby star grapefruit (with a little stevia-erythritol sprinkled on top).
4 slices center-cut bacon, pepper-and-onion omelette (with a little freshly-grated Parmesan cheese) and  buttered pumpernickel bagel.
Another pumpernickel bagel, this time with salmon-cream cheese spread.

Lunch
From Gianni's Original Bronx Pizza: A slice with pepperoni, a plain slice, both with plenty of red pepper flakes.

Dinner
At Mac's Bad Art Bar: Phillie Supreme (steak, peppers, mushrooms, onions, cheese on a sub roll) with fries and pickles. Not pictured: a shot of Jameson's and some honey-and-151 they gave away for a promotion (gagged me).
