Unless I lose 4 pounds between this morning and my weigh-in and measurement tomorrow, I will not make my numbers this week, and I will have to have a week of unhealthy weight loss to make my goal for this month. I am disappointed, but definitley accountable. Whatever chance I had of losing more weight today than I needed - and I feel I had that chance, I was on plan yesterday... until around midnight - was washed down with a rather large (3-4 ounces) pour of Jameson's 12-year-old Reserve. When your friend, who happens to own a bar, and is of Irish descent, breaks out the Personal Stash on St. Patrick's Day, the humanity has a higher priority than the calories.
I checked. It turns out I missed my January goal by 1.5 pounds, but when I look at this month's chart, I see that I have pretty much stalled out. I feel this is temporary, and that it doesn't call for any changes. I have no deadlines, I've made great progress, and although slight, the trend is still intact. I'm still losing weight. Tomorrow's measurements, I think, will tell a good story.
