Down 2 pounds, but it isn't enough. I am more than 5 pounds over goal weight for the day, and almost 7 pounds over my goal weight for the week. It isn't unheard of to lose that much; I'll just be a very happy guy if I can drop as much as 5 in the next 5 days!

My plan: hyper-hydration, protein shake first thing in the morning, and, of course, sticking totally to the food plan. Wish me luck.

Today's Food

Breakfast
For breakfast, I had a protein shake with about 24g protein, and the following:
OK - there's something wrong with the color here... It is my old familiar standby: a whole egg, 2 egg whites, spinach and black beans, sauteed in macadamia nut oil.

Lunch
Rotisserie chicken, black beans, and some home-made mayonnaise on spinach and romaine.

Dinner
Burger made from grass-fed beef, Great Northern beans, black beans, spices and seasoning, with a side of mixed veggies. Eaten but not shown: 1/2C of 1% cottage cheese that I don't like and won't be buying again. Back to 4%.


Today's Liquid
    24 oz. of black coffee and 200+ oz. of water.
