It is nice to see the scale dip below 200 again - it's been a while. Today's was a modest cheat day, with the usual cake supplementing a lot of whole grain carbs. That's how to achieve a high-calorie day, and spike your insulin. Which, of course, is the main purpose of cheat day.

Daily Commentary
I think I may have to put off my procrastinating one more day.

Food Log
Breakfast
Homemade cheat day pastries from the Regional Farmer's Market. A bowl of Ezekiel Golden Flax Sprouted Grains cereal with wild blueberries, 24g protein (from whey protein powder), cinnamon, coconut milk and stevia. Toasted and buttered whole grains bagel. Not shown: lots of coffee. Also, note: I didn't eat all of the pastries at breakfast, by the way. They were eaten throughout the day.

Lunch
A mix of whole wheat penne and brown rice elbows, with Wegman's Grandpa Sauce (sausage, peppers and wine tomato sauce).
Dinner
A bowl of Ezekiel Golden Flax Sprouted Grains cereal with cinnamon, almond milk and stevia.

Liquid Intake
Coffee:  42 oz,   Water:  80+ oz.

Hi- I am sticking with it, so far, one day at a time. I have found, later in life, that many people operate at a different level. I didn't realize this as a kid. It is difficult for me to dumb down so I just do myself- whether they get it or not. Love
