Yesterday's fast was not productive in the short run, but I think I'm doing fine and not worried about it at all. I'm feeling good. I don't know about the long-term for intermittent fasting, but so far, so good. It is easy, and the benefits, while not reflected in (my) weight loss are health- and not necessarily weight-related.

Also, it has transformed my attitude about hungry - I realize that there are times when I perceive hunger and I am not actually hungry, rather it is the habit of eating. Certainly, it is not unhealthy to NOT eat when you're NOT hungry. It also requires no willpower.

I missed lunch today - but I didn't really 'miss' it. I just worked through lunch and by the time I looked up, it was after 3pm - too late for lunch on a day I'm so busy. I did have an early dinner, and a late snack...

Daily Comment
Another busy day. i am FOOL rehearsal, followed by a jam at the bar we're playing at Saturday.

I got a call yesterday to sub for a friend at a gig Saturday. The money was great - or I should say, the money would have been great. I have a benefit gig with i am FOOL. We're playing to benefit the Food Bank, while this job paid BIG (and I like the other musicians on the job). Ah, well, the Food Bank is a worthy cause.

Well, thank you very much. I think my ability to express gratitude is a much better quality. And now, you've given me an idea for today's comment.

Love you, too.
