December 16, 2011: Post 340 (Day 349)

Yesterday's Weight:    202.8 lbs

Yesterday's light day has brought me back to my 'set point'. I am well on my way to meeting my under-200 pound New Year's Eve goal - pretty effortlessly, I think. 


Beginning my work day at home (sometimes I work from home) ended up meaning having a late breakfast. So I waited to eat again until the Christmas party at work, where I nixed chicken wings, egg rolls, and meatballs in favor of cheese, brocolli and cauliflower (with some dressing). So, good for me!


But, later that day, and in the evening, I was feeling very tired, congested, and I had a runny nose and a little bit of sore throat. So dinner was basically a snack and a protein shake.  


Daily Comment
I like displays of generosity. It makes me feel good being generous, but it makes me feel better when I see other people being generous. And I am thankful and appreciative when I benefit from generosity (as I have from the local music community), which gives me a chance to be grateful. And gratitude is one of my favorite emotions, and one I hope I get to express frequently.
Food Log


Breakfast
Spinach, black beans, scrambled eggs and chipotle sauce with bacon.
Lunch
Broccoli, cauliflower, cubed cheese (I have no idea what kind) and Ranch dressing.

Dinner
Baby carrots and home-made mayonnaise. Vanilla whey protein powder (w/48g of whey protein) mixed with almond milk.

Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   32 oz,   Water: 64+ oz.
