December 19, 2011: Post 343 (Day 352)

Yesterday's Weight:    202.4 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:        +  1.2 lbs

So, how do you explain this, calories in/calories out diet pundits? Calories in = 0, calories out = ~2500. This should result in weight loss, right? Wrong. 


Nothing is that simple. Yesterday's fast produced today's simple-explanation-defying weight gain. I'm  not worried about it, but I do find it fascinating. 


Today was back to regular eating.

Food Log


Breakfast
Chocolate egg cream protein shake: Vanilla whey protein powder (w/36g of whey protein) plus cocoa, an egg, almond milk, an extra 5g of BCAAs, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend.


Lunch
Smoked turkey breast, black beans, cole slaw mix, Spring Mix greens and balsamic vinaigrette.
Dinner
Chicken sausage with feta cheese and spinach, with whole-seed Dijon mustard and cole slaw. Dal Tadka (lentil curry) and broccoli.
Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   11 oz,   Water: 108+ oz.
