I have been asking myself what it is I want for myself with retirement. Initially, I thought of a lot of things I wanted to eliminate: job, car, money worries, winter. But I don't really like thinking in negatives, I don't like to think of what I don't want (since that puts the energy in the wrong place).
What I want when I retire: I want to travel. I want to be more active physically and spiritually. I want to eat healthier food. I want to find out what my 'natural' schedule is (the one that happens when I don't have anyone else's schedule to meet or comply with). I want to expand my choices in everything. I want to see, do and learn new things. I want a little adventure.
In reference to the negatives above, let me restate: I want to be able to pay for all my living needs and most of my wants with cash on hand, mobility, and warm weather.

No pics. Sorry. Ate out at the local Chinese Buffet/Mongolian Wokkery. The meal consisted of two dishes: First, a salad with lettuce, tomato, red beans, cucumbers and ranch dressing. The main dish was stir-fried shrimp, beef, broccoli, onions, mushrooms, green and red peppers in "hot and spicy" sauce.
