Yesterday's Weight:    200.6 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:         + 1.8 lbs

The weight gain I saw this morning is a little surprising, given that I only ate twice, and, although the first meal was semi-huge (in the 800-calorie region), I am sure I did not have a large caloric intake for the day. So, yes, weight's up, but it is of no concern.

Daily Comment
One of the things I am looking at now is how different states tax pensions (outside of Social Security). NY taxes them as income, but doesn't tax social security. I may have to have a legal address in FL once I start collecting... Texas would be good, too, but I don't like Texas. No way to avoid federal tax on my IBM pension, pretty sure my Social Security won't be taxed, although it may be diminished by my IBM pension. I think not, though. Ultimately, it means I will have to plan for less monthly income.


Food Log
Breakfast
Chocolate egg cream protein shake (vanilla whey protein powder (w/36g of whey protein) plus cocoa, an egg, almond milk, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend).

Lunch
Smoked turkey, red beans, Spring Mix greens, red cabbage and balsamic vinaigrette.
Dinner
Chicken with feta cheese and spinach sausage, faux mashed potatoes (cauliflower, almond milk, butter, salt and pepper) with red beans and cayenne.
Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   24 oz,   Water: 96+ oz.
