Diet Comment:
Weight-wise, we're right in the sweet spot. I skipped breakfast today to leave room for the meal at Star North Buffet and Mongolian Grill - my lunch with Al. Unfortunately, my day fell apart after lunch, dietarily. I had a donut, then, I wasn't hungry for dinner, so had a protein shake, then went out to rehearsal. When I got back, I was tired and very hungry, but had nothing in the house that didn't take a lot of prep (and delay before being ready), so I ate a salad and hard-boiled eggs, then some candy (healthy-ish candy, but candy, made with sugar, candy).

Daily Comment:
When it comes to burning the candle at both ends, I'm the worst. After my gig subbing last night, I squeezed in less than 4 hours of sleep. Not good. Not healthy. But I'm compulsive about my playing opportunities. I feel I have to accept them all, for as long as they're available and I am able.



Food Log

Breakfast

Snack
Donut with vanilla icing and M&M minis.

Lunch

At Star North Buffet and Mongolian Grill:
Counter-clockwise, from 1 o'clock: Steamed fish in egg drop soup, kimchee, green salad with hard-boiled eggs and ranch dressing, hibachi grill with shrimp, chicken, broccoli, onions, peppers, mushrooms and an egg.  


Dinner
Green protein shake (vanilla whey protein powder (w/36g of whey protein) plus kale, almond milk, cinnamon and stevia-inulin blend).


Late-night Snack

Spring Mix greens and hard-boiled eggs with balsamic vinaigrette. Dark chocolate-covered acai berries and blueberries. 


Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   32 oz,   Water: 96+ oz
