 Goal Weight: 188 pounds

Please leave a comment if you visit my blog. Thank you!

Today's Weight:        200.2 lbs
Yesterday's Weight:    198.0 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:         + 2.2 lbs
This is my daily weight chart since ending the Slow-Carb diet.
This is Day 73 post-Slow-Carb, and day 5 of one week of Phase 1 from The 6-week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle.

Yesterday's late-night snack seems to have done what late night snacks usually do - impact the next morning's weigh-in in the wrong direction. Expected. No big deal.

Worse yet, is a cheat I did today after lunch - there was an ice cream social at work, and I made the conscious decision to participate, including having an ice cream sundae. Sue me. I'm a social animal.

But I regret it now. For one thing, it awakened huge carb cravings - actually, make that sugar cravings. After my brownie and hot fudge sundae, I ate a banana. Then, less than an hour later a chocolate chip cookie, and another brownie.

Ma, I'm not feeling so good. A cup of my good coffee didn't seem to bring me back from the dull of the ensuing sugar crash. I had overdone my cheat. Then I threw away the plan for the day, skipped my next two shakes and had a high protein dinner.

Oh, well.

Tomorrow's another day. My batting percentage is still amazingly high.

This will no doubt have a negative effect on tomorrow's weigh-in. So it goes. Put the load on me.

Oh well, not the first time and won't be the last time this happens. It is part of life. And, you are right, your percentage is AMAZING. Love you
seeing Ronnie tomorrow. A little nervous.
