August 11, 2011: Day 74, Post 222

Today's Weight:        200.8 lbs
Yesterday's Weight:    200.2 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:         + 0.6 lbs
This is my daily weight chart since ending the Slow-Carb diet.
This is Day 74 post-Slow-Carb, and day 6 of one week of Phase 1 from The 6-week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle.

I didn't pay too dearly for yesterday's diet fail. I've gained more from eating late, or sleeping less.

I do find myself counting the days (2) until Saturday, when I will be having a day-long, guilt-free cheat.

Then I start the next chapter... CYWT, Cheat Your Way Thin. I'm looking forward to that experiment.

Meanwhile, a major success: Went to the GAP to participate in their sale on 1969 jeans. But I had to go back and return them for a smaller waist. My jean size has gone from a tight 40 waist to a not-too-snug 34 waist this year. Oh, yeah, and they are skinny jeans.

That's what I'm talking 'bout!

Food Log


Breakfast, Dinner and Snack
Protein shake (56g whey protein, 1 whole egg, 1/4C Coconut milk).


Lunch
Baby spinach, Spring Mix greens, red cabbage with balsamic vinaigrette. Italian sausage (chicken, onions, peppers) with Dijon mustard.
Late-Night Snack
Smoked turkey with whole-seed Dijon mustartd.

Liquid Intake
    Coffee:  22 oz,   Water: 120+ oz.
