November 30, 2011: Post 324 (Day 333), Fast Day

Yesterday's Weight:    204.2 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:        +  0.4 lbs

Give and take. What I lost yesterday, I gained today. Weird. I lost weight the day before eating much more food and calories than what I ate yesterday, which was actually a low calorie consumption day. Anyway, today is a fast day - no food until dinner.


By then, I was really hungry. I made a pot of chili, ate half for dinner, half as a very late snack. I ate a day's worth of calories between 7pm and 1am. That will not be good at tomorrow's weigh-in.

Chili (grass-fed beef, black beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, spice) and peas. Eaten but not shown: Baby carrots with homemade mayonnaise and a salad with baby spinach, romaine lettuce, cole slaw blend (green and red cabbage and carrots) and balsamic vineigrette.
Snack
Chili (see dinner).

Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   32 oz,   Water: 128+ oz.

Your body is a bag of water. weight fluctuates. I was supposed to have lunch with Ronny Hartman today but he cancelled. I always bring my lunch because I do not want to be in this position of improvising. I finally weighed myself. Not good news. Oh well, just keep on trying.

Weight is just the easiest thing to track, but we both know it isn't a very good measure of leanness, fitness or health. That is why I track body fat% trends and inches, as well as doing unquantifiable "mirror checks".

Because I track it, it might seem like I'm paying a lot of attention to it, when the reality is different - it is just the 'default' when I have nothing else to talk about.

I think that you, like me, will put together a satisfactory eating plan exactly when you're ready to do so, and not before. It has happened for me, it will happen for you.

I hope you are giving Ronnie my best when you talk with him.
