Again, the charts don't need much comment. Today is a regular eating day, tomorrow is cheat day. I had lunch at Ruby Tuesday's, keeping pretty much to the plan, thanks to my bringing my own beans. However, I did have a fail when I hit the afternoon blahs and was offered a donut. The first time, I said, "No." But the second time, I couldn't resist.

Daily Comment
I had a great jam last night with some guys who normally play jazz with a slap-funk bass player. We all stretched a bit to accommodate our different styles and the result was great (from compliments I heard after from the audience and other players - not bragging). For me, the real highlight was that, even though I absolutely worship at the altar of Marvin Gaye, and love the song (and the album), I played "What's Going On?" for the first time in my life.


Food Log


Breakfast
Spinach, red kidney beans, onions and peppers, eggs, salsa and chipotle sauce.
Lunch
At Ruby Tuesday's: Salad bar (plus black beans I added) and a Sirloin burger (roll removed) plus spaghetti squash.
Snack
A donut. Later: Baby carrots and homemade mayonnaise.


Dinner
Rotisserie chicken and Dal Tadka (lentil curry). Not shown: Spring mix greens, red cabbage and balsamic vinaigrette.
Liquid Intake
    Coffee:   30 oz,   Water: 124+ oz.
