What results should I expect from a day of copious hydration, an early dinner - completing a totally on-plan day - and a good night's sleep?

Not the rather startling result I got - that would have been too much to ask for.

Unless I can follow up on this (hydration and on-plan eating with an early dinner are easy, a good night's sleep is very less likely), I will probably have a somewhat modest free day this coming Saturday.

And this Saturday, I am playing at a benefit that includes both music and food for the audience. Being good on the day I'm allowed to be bad may be too much for me, lol.

Next week will be challenging:  I will be out of town (without my home cooking facilities) Monday thru Friday. I am planning for it now.

Finally, I'll state again that, until exercise is not a serious part of my program until I lose some more weight and/or get my waist inches narrower than both chest (it is there now) and hips (not yet). I have been losing inches on my hips steadily, my waist not as much. At some point, I will have a skinny butt, and the fat in my middle - the most resistant and last place I lose weight - will give up and start to come off.

That being said, today I did 50 deep-knee bends (what Tim Ferriss calls 'Air Squats') in less than 90 seconds, which, as far as I can recall, is the most ever in my entire life. Yeehah!

The chart:
Look at those humps in the chart. I think I would do well to try for a milder hump like the one earlier in the chart next Saturday. Trend is still above goal, but I'm looking forward to changing that over the 6 or 7 days.

Today's food:

Breakfast
Spinach and black bean omelette with salsa. Side of Applegate turkey bacon.

Lunch
Smoked ham off-the-bone, black beans and balsamic vinaigrette over Spring Mix greens.

Dinner
Chili (grass-fed beef, mushrooms, black beans, tomatoes and spices) over mixed vegetables with a side of guacamole.

Late Night Snack
A few slices of ham off-the-bone. Whenever you see this heading, it is a fail on my part, because this never bodes well. Late night snacks usually have other fallout, like not getting enough sleep after.
As always, please leave a comment if you read this blog post.
