Diet Comment:
Oops! There goes my weight! Adding 3 pounds in a day. I wonder why? Looking at yesterday's food, doesn't really explain it, to me,  so I won't try.

Today's a 24-hour fast day, I'm looking to take some off.

Daily Comment:
Most of the internet sources of information on retiring outside the US put most of their emphasis on retirement destinations in the Americas. All well and good, and some of those places are on my short list of places to check. There is less emphasis on Asian and European destinations, and none at all on African destinations.

I don't know anything (current) about Africa, except places that are news-worthy because of the terrible political and social problems going on there. I have heard that South Africa is very wonderful, but have no real information.

Central America has some of the most inviting destinations, South America even more so. SouthEast Asia seems to offer some hard-to-top advantages, but no place that I've looked at so far has checked all the boxes, so-to-speak.

Another thing I've been thinking about is whether I need to figure out a way to supplement my pension income. I have two ideas about this: Photography (I've always loved it, always taken pics) and internet research. They're both portable to any location with internet connectivity (a checkbox on my list of requirements), and both are things you do or don't do on your own schedule.

I find fasting pretty easy. The day-after-cheat-day fast is REALLY easy, I rarely get hungry as long as I stay well-hydrated. The mid-week fast (Wed or Thurs) sometimes involves a little afternoon hunger. That's the one that frequently ends up being less than 24-hours (both fasts are intended to be 24 hour fasts, but there's no magic - as I understand it, the magic numbers are 18 hours minimum and 39 hours max, with 24 being a 'sweet spot' duration. There have only been a few times (and I've done fasted twice a week since the beginning of the year) when I have gotten really, really hungry, and over-eaten after a fast.

So, the Cliff's notes answer to your question is, "Not usually."

So happy to hear you're feeling so well.

Love,
Ken
