Not a record, but still, a prodigious weight-gain. Since I was still downing M&Ms after midnight on Saturday, today's cheat was an all-day affair.Daily Comment:
And I mean the stupid health care system we have in this country. It is the shame of the industrialized world, a country that has commoditized health care to the point where we would rather see sick people die than risk profit for the caregivers. That better health care is available and affordable in ALL the countries I am considering expatriating to should explain a lot.
The cost of health care is also one of the primary reasons for my looking overseas in the first place.

Seems to me that when you lose 4 pounds one day and gain it back the next it is probably water weight. Love you
Agreed. I've already said the day-to-day variations are meaningless. Still, an almost 6-pound day-over-day difference is unusual enough to be notable. And, yes, most of that is water.
This is one of the reasons I am shifting the emphasis of the blog towards everything other than weight reporting.
I'm not ready to let that go completely, and I still think that it is a healthy practice to track what you eat, but I really want the writing to be about things other than diet.
