September 3, 2011: Day 97 after Slow-Carb, Post 245

Today's Weight:        202.6 lbs
Yesterday's Weight:    201.6 lbs
Net Loss/Gain:         + 1.0 lbs
I am on vacation.  This should have been a measurement day, but I have no measurements. I also have no access to a computer, so this is actually being written on September 5 (which is the first day I have an 'actual' weight, although it isn't on my home scale, so, technically, not so much).


But today is a cheat day. Tomorrow will be one, too. It is pretty much always wrong, and damaging to any progress, to put together two days in a row of high carb and high calorie eating, but there it is - I am going to have very limited choices in my food tomorrow, so I am just going to enjoy what is offered, and I refuse to feel guilty about it.

Food Log


Breakfast
Protein shake with 48g of whey protein plus two eggs.


Lunch
Spanakopita from Aphrodite's Sweets, in Whitestone, NY.

Grilled marinated chicken salad from Aphrodite's Sweets, in Whitestone, NY.

1/2 of a chocolate-peanut butter cheesecake with dark chocolate crust from Aphrodite's Sweets, in Whitestone, NY.


Dinner 
No pictures (the restaurant lighting was too atmospheric). Eaten at La Carbonara (NYC): Some of a few different appetizers, A salad. Whole-wheat penne with mushrooms, truffles, chicken, sauteed greens in a savory sauce. A chocolate bombe for dessert. 3 glasses of wine.

Liquid Intake
    Coffee:  32 oz,   Water: 48+ oz.
