Gaining a kilo in a day, when that day was not cheat day, means something happened.
What happened, of course, was that I had a bit of a melt-down around dinner last night. First I wasn't hungry, then I had intense cravings, and ended up eating a large quantity of bad food: candy, cookies and cheese.
You pay a price for doing that. I paid a price for doing that.

The treachery of technology. That is today's brief topic. What do you do when some equipment stops working, and you can't trace the problem back to any known incident? I don't know, but today, for no known reason, the card reader built into my PC stopped working. Actually, that isn't the case. The card reader is working fine. The PC is not getting the message. Why? What changed? I don't know. Nothing. Or maybe an automatic update in Windows happened. Whatever caused the problem, it means there are no pictures in today's blog.

Green protein shake: kale, almond milk, an egg, vanilla whey protein powder (36g protein), vanilla, cinnamon, stevia-inulin blend.
Snack
Nutter Butter cookies. Damn you, free samples! Later, celery and home-made mayonnaise.
Dinner
Grass-fed ground beef and salsa with a salad of Spring Mix greens, red cabbage and balsamic vinaigrette.
Snack
Hard-boiled eggs, celery and home-made mayonnaise.
Liquid Intake
Coffee: 30 oz, Water:100+ oz
Skipped.
Lunch

I totally agree and I think the calories burned up with the excersize of playing and the joy of playing totally outweigh any sleep deprivation.
